I watched a hairy, dirty con...Been there done that. <BR/><BR/>I watched a hairy, dirty construction worker in a muscle tee hanging on a strap.<BR/>Crushed into place with nose a few inches from his pits was an attractive, neatly dressed young woman, smashed into place like one of those exploding worms in a can.<BR/><BR/>The expression on her face was priceless, but I was afraid she was going to barf in my briefcase.<BR/><BR/>Cars are better. More expensive maybe, but not as much more expensive as claimed, if everthing is considered, and not even that much dirtier, all things considered. In approving the plan the supervisor's will have run roughshod over many citizens complaints that it will in fact increase congestion, not least of all on Metro itself.<BR/><BR/>Keep your fingers crossed that after the plan is approved it doesn't become the poster child of bad transportation planning that undoes the smart-growth movement.Ray Hydehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16435550701916966015noreply@blogger.com
